New Caledonia observed by "SHIKISAI". We can see a huge coral reef around a main lsland, Grande Terre, which is in the center of this satellite image. The Caledonian lagoon is one of the most largest lagoons in the world (23,400km²) and has been registered on the UNESCO world heritage list.
